Dysport is very similar to Botox with the primary neuroprotein botulinum type A, being the same. The differences lie in the dosing unit calculation due to dilution type, the time it takes to see effectiveness, dispersion of the product and possible longevity. With the different dosing, we are finding Dysport to be a more affordable option to Botox.
Dysport is reported to take effect a little quicker than Botox and in many cases has a larger spread area so may be more effective in areas such as the forehead.
